The Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program recently awarded $3 million in state funds to two projects in Folcroft and Upper Darby, towns outside of Philadelphia.
Administered by the Office of the Budget, RACP projects are state-funded and designed to support the acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational and historical improvements.
“This investment from the Commonwealth speaks to the importance of our local governments and the citizens they serve,” state Sen. Anthony Williams said when the award was announced.
